About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Investigate pharmacies' staffing needs and take action to staff accordingly
- Schedule, organize and implement a sustainable staffing strategy
- Work with other staff members to fulfill the needs of patients and nurses’ schedules
- Identify hard-to-fill schedules and take proactive actions
- Communicate effectively with employees, patients and pharmacies
- Prepare and submit reports on staffing operations
- Update nurses’ calendars daily
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma
- Minimum of 6 months of related experience
- Good time-management skills with the ability to handle various open referrals simultaneously
- Excellent verbal, written communication skills and critical thinking skills
- Communicate in a timely manner
- Ability to work on a personal computer or laptop computer for extended periods of time
- Occasional bending, stooping, reaching
- Some college preferred
- Previous healthcare scheduling experience preferred
