About the role
- Maintain and monitor performance baselines and change control for scope, schedule, and cost.
- Support development and execution of project planning including WBS, resource estimates, and baseline schedules.
- Provide guidance and training on Earned Value Management System (EVMS) to personnel and cost account managers.
- Lead baseline development, control, and reporting; validate baseline information.
- Develop CPM schedule logic and lead schedule updating, critical path analysis, and schedule impact analysis.
- Measure progress using earned value methodology; maintain baseline and status schedules and produce scheduling reports.
- Perform cost analysis integration, forecasting, Estimate at Completion (EAC) development, and change control accounting.
- Support monthly reports, planning and scheduling meetings, subcontractor performance tracking, and proposals/estimates.
- Conduct periodic field walkdowns to validate performance and ETC; perform variance analysis and corrective actions.
- Finalize and implement procedures; ensure compliance with EVMS and assist in risk management and funding posture updates.
Requirements
- BA/BS in business, construction management, engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to occupation.
- Minimum of twelve (12) years of related experience.
- No licenses/certifications required.
- Experience in project management or project controls.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with cost management and scheduling software.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in cost/finance analysis, estimating, and reporting tools.
- Proficiency in Earned Value Management (EVM) or Project Management Professionals (PMP) requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong background in planning, budget preparation, and basic scheduling techniques.
- Familiarity with DOE/DOD operations, project management systems, and Congressional budget process is preferred.
- US citizenship required.
