About the role
- Project Controls Analyst IV responsibilities: support development and execution of project and functional planning; maintain and monitor performance baselines; change control; performance analysis; EAC development; accruals.
- May serve as Advanced Project Control Analyst, EVMS Programmatic functions, and Cost Account Manager (CAM) managing annual project budgets up to $5M-$10M and monitoring budgeted resources.
- Support managers and customers to develop statement of work (WBS, Dictionary, objectives, assumptions, deliverables), resource estimate, baseline schedule; analyze schedule variance and recommend corrective action.
- Develop and maintain WBS; develop CPM schedule logic for engineering, procurement, decontamination/decommissioning; gather data for schedule updates; measure progress; maintain baseline and status schedules; produce scheduling reports; incorporate directed changes using earned value methodology.
- Support monthly report preparation; participate in planning and scheduling meetings; assist in tracking subcontractor performance; support cost analysis through cross-training; assist procedure development; communicate cost and schedule criteria to CAMs; complete field walkdowns to validate performance and ETC; establish control account work scope, budget, schedule for PMB and IMS; ensure compliance with EVMS; update EAC and keep management appraised; ensure training and qualifications are up to date.
Requirements
- BA/BS in business, construction management, engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to occupation.
- Minimum of nine (9) years of related experience
- None (Licenses/Certifications)
- Experience in project management or project controls
- Strong analytical skills and experience with cost management and scheduling software
- Proficiency in cost/finance analysis, estimating, and reporting tools
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) or Project Management Professionals (PMP) requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to convey complex information clearly
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong background in planning, budget preparation, and basic scheduling techniques
- US citizenship is required due to government contract/clearance requirements
