About the role
- Responsible for quantitative analysis supporting monitoring network optimization and plume stability evaluation.
- Conduct statistical analyses including Mann‑Kendall trends, time‑series analysis, PCA, and geostatistics (variography/kriging).
- Apply groundwater flow and transport models (e.g., MODFLOW).
- Evaluate plume behavior, aquifer sustainability, and monitoring efficiency.
- Support development of optimized sampling schedules and well networks.
Requirements
- Degree in Hydrology, Environmental Engineering, or Applied Mathematics.
- Proficiency in groundwater modeling and statistical evaluation tools.
- Experience supporting regulatory decisions with quantitative analysis.
- Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearances requirements, US citizenship is required.
