- The Infrastructure/Platform Engineering Manager leads and manages a team responsible for designing, building, and maintaining software development platforms for multiple multi-vendor teams
- Your primary goals are to lead a team, to streamline and optimize developer productivity, platform reliability, and business alignment
- Additionally, you will contribute to platform design, architecture, and implementation directly
Requirements
- At least 7 years in platform development, with at least 3 years in formal management roles, leading sizable technical teams and strategic initiatives
- Proven experience leading platform or infrastructure engineering teams, establishing strategic vision, and delivering robust platforms
- Advanced skillsets in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), automation, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools
- Ability to collaborate across technical and management teams, communicate complex concepts clearly, and solicit feedback for platform improvement
- Strong analytical thinking to address technical challenges, drive process improvements, and introduce new tools or methodologies as needed
- Understanding of security principles, risk management, and regulatory/audit requirements for platform engineering
