About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare legal opinions, memoranda and studies in Tax Law
  • Respond to legal inquiries and provide technical support to clients on matters related to direct taxation
  • Participate in client meetings and consultations, assisting in the analysis and structuring of transactions
  • Conduct legislative, doctrinal and case-law research
  • Monitor legislative, regulatory and jurisprudential changes relevant to clients
  • Support analyses involving income taxation, corporate reorganizations, investments, domestic and international transactions and other matters related to direct taxation
  • Work together with other practice areas of the firm to assess the tax impacts of transactions and strategic projects
  • Contribute to the development of tax strategies and solutions aligned with clients’ business objectives.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Previous experience in Tax Law, particularly in tax advisory and/or federal administrative litigation
  • Excellent legal drafting skills and the ability to construct sound arguments
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good knowledge of accounting
  • Interest in academic development and ongoing professional improvement
  • Postgraduate studies in progress, or participation in tax-related courses or events, will be considered an advantage
  • Advanced English.
