About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • As the Operations Manager, you will be the primary steward of program logistics and information, and ensure smooth program operation.
  • Responsible for all pre-trip communications with our customers, primarily school groups.
  • Accurately and efficiently manage pre-trip paperwork collection, communicate program logistics, and coordinate with other campus departments.
  • Communication with teachers, school administrators, and trip coordinators to determine logistics.
  • Conduct weekly informational phone calls with Group Coordinators.
  • Manage online registration, Salesforce portals, and the Program Information drive.
  • Provide the Operations Team with administrative support and maintain current operations manuals.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Relevant administrative, operations, or educational experience.
  • Organized and able to balance competing logistics between programs while maintaining attention to detail
  • Written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
  • Able to communicate complicated logistical information to multiple groups
  • Capable of working as part of a collaborative team; maintains positive working relationships with staff and guests.
  • Strong problem-solving skills; able to make decisions independently while meeting the needs of multiple stakeholders
  • Demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion in the workplace.
  • Demonstrated office experience, ability to manage and communicate information quickly and accurately
  • Experience with Google Suite of apps (Calendar, Gmail, Sheets and Docs) and database management or Customer Relationship Management program (CRMs).
  • Internet and e-mail experience required
