About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- As the Operations Manager, you will be the primary steward of program logistics and information, and ensure smooth program operation.
- Responsible for all pre-trip communications with our customers, primarily school groups.
- Accurately and efficiently manage pre-trip paperwork collection, communicate program logistics, and coordinate with other campus departments.
- Communication with teachers, school administrators, and trip coordinators to determine logistics.
- Conduct weekly informational phone calls with Group Coordinators.
- Manage online registration, Salesforce portals, and the Program Information drive.
- Provide the Operations Team with administrative support and maintain current operations manuals.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Relevant administrative, operations, or educational experience.
- Organized and able to balance competing logistics between programs while maintaining attention to detail
- Written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Able to communicate complicated logistical information to multiple groups
- Capable of working as part of a collaborative team; maintains positive working relationships with staff and guests.
- Strong problem-solving skills; able to make decisions independently while meeting the needs of multiple stakeholders
- Demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion in the workplace.
- Demonstrated office experience, ability to manage and communicate information quickly and accurately
- Experience with Google Suite of apps (Calendar, Gmail, Sheets and Docs) and database management or Customer Relationship Management program (CRMs).
- Internet and e-mail experience required
