About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design end-to-end solutions using open-source technologies (e.g., Linux, Apache, PostgreSQL, Kafka, etc.).
Lead architectural decisions for new projects and modernization initiatives.
Evaluate, select, and integrate open-source components and frameworks.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and maintainable.
Create architecture diagrams, documentation, and technical roadmaps.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
Engage with open-source communities and stay current with emerging trends.
Ensure solutions meet business, security, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience designing and implementing solutions with open-source technologies.
Hands-on experience with Linux and open-source application stacks.
Familiarity with scripting, automation, and configuration management tools.
Excellent communication skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and API design.
Ability to lead technical discussions and influence stakeholders.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
