  • Submit necessary paperwork accurately and on time
  • Provide guidance and training to less experienced team members
  • Attend product-specific training and assist with equipment commissioning
  • Handle battery installation, removal, and disposal procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of an Associate's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering Technology or a related field
  • At least 4 years of experience servicing, troubleshooting, installing, and maintaining critical power or similar equipment
  • Willingness to learn technical skills through various training methods
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
  • Self-motivated and able to independently manage workload
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Factory training or equivalent in repair and maintenance of multiple leading UPS brands preferred
  • Previous critical power field service experience preferred
  • Proficiency with electrical/electronic test equipment
  • Understanding of electrical and electronic fundamentals
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical line diagrams and schematics
  • Understanding of Ohm's law and electronic theory
  • Ability to evaluate equipment operating conditions
  • Ability to regularly lift at least 50 pounds
  • Valid driver's license with auto insurance required
  • Current vehicle insurance and licenses required
