About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the planning and execution of educational initiatives
  • Coordinate educational events and develop engaging content
  • Maintain proactive communication with stakeholders regarding project status and potential challenges
  • Execute logistics for live education events, recruiting speakers and coordinating participants
  • Facilitate workshops and presentations
  • Recruit and coordinate volunteers and program participants
  • Develop and adapt educational content in various formats
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support educational programming

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2+ years of experience in public health, nonprofit, community service, patient advocacy, or related settings
  • Experience facilitating presentations, workshops, or educational programs for diverse audiences
  • Familiarity with program development and execution with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships and collaborate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, along with sound analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Zoom, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint)
  • Comfort with learning and adapting to new technologies and software platforms (AI tools, Canva, and Monday.com)
  • Bilingual proficiency (speaking, reading, and writing) is strongly preferred
