Director of Development – Membership

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and articulate strategies for development, membership, sponsorship and grants
- Create and implement annual fundraising strategies
- Oversee and implement stewardship activities that increase donor retention
- Cultivate, solicit, and steward donors who give $1,000+ annually
- Develop strategies to secure major gifts
- Manage and grow portfolio of major donors
- Serve as a contact for current and prospective members
- Facilitate regular strategy meetings
- Plan and execute cultivation events
Requirements
What you’ll need- Personal faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord
- Agreement to and affirmation of the NAE Statement of Faith
- Minimum of three years of professional development experience
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Organizational and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work as part of a team
- Flexibility to adjust to needs of a small office
- Capability and experience to fulfill responsibilities listed
