About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in all aspects of flight operations
Conduct pre-flight tasks including preparing the cockpit and reviewing flight plans and procedures
Monitor and manage aircraft systems, navigation, and communication
Ensure compliance with flight regulations and procedures throughout the flight
Communicate effectively with air traffic control (ATC) and other parties
Maintain and update aircraft logs and records as required
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and regulatory requirements
Prioritize the safety of passengers, crew, and aircraft
Collaborate effectively with the flight crew and ground personnel
Assist in navigating the aircraft using traditional and modern methods
Maintain accurate flight logs, maintenance records, and other required documentation
Participate in continuing education and regular training sessions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Meet minimum qualifications as per 14 CFR part 135.293 flight check
Commercial Pilot Certificate with single-engine, land certificate and Instrument rating
1200 flight hours experience required
Turbo-prop experience preferred
Thorough understanding of operations manual and all company operations and procedures related to the Pilot-in-Command position
Valid aviation second medical certificate issued by an authorized aviation medical examiner
Current driver's license with an acceptable driving record that meets NANA's insurance requirements
