About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in all aspects of flight operations
  • Conduct pre-flight tasks including preparing the cockpit and reviewing flight plans and procedures
  • Monitor and manage aircraft systems, navigation, and communication
  • Ensure compliance with flight regulations and procedures throughout the flight
  • Communicate effectively with air traffic control (ATC) and other parties
  • Maintain and update aircraft logs and records as required
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and regulatory requirements
  • Prioritize the safety of passengers, crew, and aircraft
  • Collaborate effectively with the flight crew and ground personnel
  • Assist in navigating the aircraft using traditional and modern methods
  • Maintain accurate flight logs, maintenance records, and other required documentation
  • Participate in continuing education and regular training sessions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Meet minimum qualifications as per 14 CFR part 135.293 flight check
  • Commercial Pilot Certificate with single-engine, land certificate and Instrument rating
  • 1200 flight hours experience required
  • Turbo-prop experience preferred
  • Thorough understanding of operations manual and all company operations and procedures related to the Pilot-in-Command position
  • Valid aviation second medical certificate issued by an authorized aviation medical examiner
  • Current driver's license with an acceptable driving record that meets NANA's insurance requirements
