Key responsibilities & impact

Close collaboration with business units, stakeholders and developers to align the software architecture with business and strategic goals
Defining, evolving and enforcing architectural standards, guidelines and best practices
Creating and aligning viable architectural concepts based on functional and technical requirements
Ensuring architectural compliance in implementations and providing technical guidance to development teams
Maintaining a holistic application and system landscape, including dependencies and integrations
Evaluating new technologies (e.g., cloud, AI) and identifying and mitigating technical risks

Requirements

What you’ll need

University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
Several years of experience in software development, ideally as a software architect, lead developer or senior engineer
Strong knowledge of modern software architectures, integration landscapes and system design
Experience collaborating with stakeholders and translating business requirements into technical architectures
Solid knowledge of current technologies and trends (e.g., cloud platforms, DevOps, AI)
Ability to provide technical consulting, coach development teams and ensure quality standards
Structured, analytical way of working and a strong awareness of technical risks and solution sustainability
Very good German and good English skills
