About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, enhance, and support Workday integrations across HCM and Financial applications
Act as the technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Workday Integrations and related technical solutions
Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, Benefits Connectors, PECI, Workday Studio, and Document Transformation
Collaborate with business stakeholders, implementation partners, and internal IT teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable Workday solutions
Develop and maintain Workday Reports and BIRT reports to support business reporting needs
Configure and maintain Workday Business Processes and related technical components
Upload and maintain Workday content, including questionnaires, onboarding content, and other configuration data
Support existing Workday functional processes, integrations, and technical enhancements
Configure and maintain Workday Security Profiles while ensuring compliance with organizational security standards
Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration, reporting, and production support issues
Monitor Workday releases and evaluate new features for technical adoption and continuous improvement
Create and maintain technical documentation, integration specifications, support documents, and deployment procedures
Participate in system testing, integration validation, defect resolution, and production deployments
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of enhancements and support activities
Follow ITSM processes for incident, problem, and change management
Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and recommend best practices for Workday integration and technical architecture

Requirements

What you’ll need

Total Experience 6+ years
Strong experience in Workday Integration Development and Support
Hands-on experience with Workday HCM / Workday Financials
Strong expertise in Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)
Experience developing and supporting Core Connectors, Benefits Connectors, PECI, Workday Studio Integrations, and Document Transformation
Strong knowledge of Workday Financials (Mandatory)
Experience with Workday Business Process Configuration
Hands-on experience in Workday Report Writer and BIRT report development
Good understanding of Workday Security Profiles and security framework
Experience supporting existing Workday functional and integration solutions
Experience uploading and maintaining Workday content such as questionnaires, onboarding content, and related configurations
Knowledge of Compensation, Payroll, Core HCM, Recruiting, Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Employee Management System (EMS), and Learning Management System (LMS) is preferred
Experience working with ITSM processes and support models
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, implementation partners, and cross-functional IT teams
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced support and enhancement environment
Availability to work during US business hour overlap
