Key responsibilities & impact

Writing and reviewing great quality code.
Analyze existing applications and document business logic, technical design, and process flow
Understand requirements and deliver high-quality code within defined timeline
Perform unit testing and ensure code meets quality standards
Debug, analyze, and resolve production issues, providing timely fixes or workarounds
Maintain and update technical documentation for enhancements and fixes
Collaborate with stakeholders for requirement gathering and status reporting
Support and mentor team members as needed
Contribute to continuous improvement and modernization initiatives
Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and project guidelines

Requirements

What you’ll need

Total Experience 8+ years
Strong advanced expertise in Natural/ADABAS or Cobol/DB2
Intermediate knowledge of JCL
Strong programming and coding fundamentals
Hands-on experience with batch and online (transactional) applications
Good understanding of mainframe architecture and database concepts
Exposure to mainframe modernization is an added advantage
Experience with debugging and issue analysis on mainframe systems
Familiarity with tools like NaturalONE (or similar editors), job schedulers, and Jira
