About the role
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts across UI, API, and integration layers.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into effective test cases.
- Ensure test coverage, reliability, and scalability of automation frameworks.
- Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and report defects with clear documentation.
- Continuously improve automation processes by identifying gaps and proposing enhancements.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
- Work closely with DevOps teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of hands-on expertise in designing and implementing automated test solutions
- Strong knowledge of Selenium, Java, Rest Assured, and Cucumber
- Exposure to Appium and JMeter is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
