About the role
- You ensure the system operation as well as the error analysis, maintenance and execution of system updates of the customer systems
- You carry out common basic projects, such as release upgrades for ABAP as well as for Java and take over the project management if necessary
- You are responsible for the technology planning of SAP HANA as well as the HANA migration
- You support our customers as 2nd and 3rd level support in the areas of trouble shooting and performance services
- You support in presales activities for new customers in the area of platform services
- Incident and Problem Management
Requirements
- Willingness to work occasional nights or weekends
- Completed university studies in business informatics / computer science or comparable qualifications and/or several years of relevant professional experience
- Experience in setup and operation of SAP systems as well as upgrades, patches, DB upgrades for both ABAP and Java systems
- Sound knowledge in at least 2 of the common SAP databases, such as HANA, Oracle, DB2 etc.
- Business fluent German (C1) and fluent English (B2)
