About the role
- Ensure the system operation as well as the error analysis, maintenance and execution of system updates of the customer systems
- Carry out common basic projects, such as release upgrades for ABAP as well as for Java and take over the project management if necessary
- Responsible for the technology planning of SAP HANA as well as the HANA migration
- Support our customers as 2nd and 3rd level support in the areas of troubleshooting and performance services
- Support in presales activities for new customers in the area of platform services.
Requirements
- Business fluent German (C1) and fluent English (B2)
- Willingness to work occasional nights or weekends
- Experience in setup and operation of SAP systems as well as upgrades, patches, DB upgrades for both ABAP and Java systems
- Hands-on experience with SAP Rise and SAP BTP
- Sound knowledge in at least 2 of the common SAP databases, such as HANA, Oracle, DB2 etc.
- Completed university studies in business informatics / computer science or comparable qualifications and/or several years of relevant professional experience.
