About the role
- Assisting with client communication and case management
- Manage department calendars/scheduling, and draft legal documents including standardized letters, pleadings, and reports.
- Scanning legal documents
- Managing filing system
- Recording information into a database as needed
- Updating paperwork, maintaining documents, and reviewing legal documentation
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED
- Must have working knowledge e-Filing (State/Federal)
- Prior experience working in a law firm required
- Must have excellent communication skills, ability to follow up on items, and be detail-oriented.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced evolving environment, and must be task-oriented
- Must be competent & proficient in the use of Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint & Excel
