About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design end-to-end digital experiences, from early concepts and customer journeys through to high-fidelity UI
- Translate customer and business needs into clean, clear and user-friendly solutions
- Contribute to our Design System, helping shape and evolve patterns and components that scale beautifully across BNZ
- Collaborate with product owners, engineers, researchers, and content designers to bring ideas to life
- Use research and data to inform your work, and champion the needs of our customers in every decision
- Prototype, test and iterate – you’ll learn quickly what works (and what doesn’t)
- Participate in regular design critiques with the wider team, expect to give and receive thoughtful, constructive feedback
- Help raise the bar for design craft, accessibility and consistency across our products
- Balance speed and quality with AI.
Requirements
What you’ll need- You’ve shipped digital products that solve real problems (and have a portfolio to prove it)
- You’re comfortable with complexity, and love turning it into clarity
- You care about craft and consistency, and the people using your designs
- You think in systems, not just screens
- You collaborate well with others and give/receive feedback with empathy and openness
- You’re curious, humble, and always looking to grow your skills
