About the role

  • - **Financial Modeling and Analysis:** Develop and maintain robust financial models for strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance, profitability, and trend analysis.
  • - **Data Extraction & Analysis (SQL):** Develop and execute SQL queries to extract financial and operational data supporting budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
  • - **Reporting and Insights:** Prepare and present clear and concise financial reports and presentations to senior management, translating complex data into clear dashboards and actionable insights.
  • - **Strategic Collaboration:** Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • - **Budgeting and Forecasting:** Oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy, relevance and timeliness.
  • - **Performance Measurement:** Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • - **Technology Optimization:** Leverage FP&A software and tools to enhance forecasting accuracy and streamline reporting processes.
  • - **Business Influence:** Provide financial insights and recommendations to influence key business decisions and drive growth.

Requirements

  • - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • - Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in the consumer finance or fintech industry.
  • - Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, financial modeling software).
  • - Strong SQL skills, including the ability to write complex queries (joins, subqueries, aggregations) to support reporting and data-driven decision-making.
  • - Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
  • - High level of ownership and accountability
  • - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • - Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
  • - Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • **Preferred Qualifications:**
  • - Advanced degree in finance or a related field.
  • - Experience with financial planning and analysis systems (FP&A software).
  • - Professional certifications such as CFA or CPA.
