Key responsibilities & impact

Design, build, and own the data pipelines for genomic and operational data
Set technical direction for data platform and build reliable production pipelines
Own data quality, lineage, and observability end to end
Apply understanding of CAP/CLIA, HIPAA, GDPR to data pipeline architecture
Produce and maintain operational evidence for compliance audits

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of professional software or data engineering experience
4+ years building and operating production data pipelines at scale
3+ years of production cloud experience (AWS preferred)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
Strong SQL proficiency on Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL
Strong Python proficiency across the stack (data pipelines, backend services, and APIs)
Production experience with a workflow orchestrator
Production experience with containers (Docker) and Kubernetes
Experience supporting HIPAA or GxP audits
