About the role
- As a Co-Founder/CMO there is likely no typical workday — each day will be different.
- As the top strategic and decision-making level at myBuddy, you will work closely with our founder to set the overall direction of the startup.
- Since myBuddy is still in its early stages, you need to command the full marketing toolkit and be able to translate creative strategies into online and offline campaigns: using the right images, graphics, copy, and possibly video and audio to communicate the myBuddy vision effectively to target audiences.
- Over time the CMO is expected to take on an increasing team leadership role. Therefore, leadership skills and strategic/entrepreneurial thinking are essential for this position.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in strategic marketing, media and communications design, or comparable fields
- Proficiency with industry-standard graphic tools and social media platforms
- Professional project experience in various team settings; leadership experience is an advantage
- Outstanding sensitivity to socio-political topics and developments in Germany
- Strong understanding of business and economic contexts
- Work experience in (SocialTech) startups or management consulting is a plus
- Cultural knowledge and work experience in international or intercultural contexts are an advantage
- Professional language skills in at least German and English.
