About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Advance myAgro’s plan for securing annual and multi-year funding from European governments, multi-laterals, foundations, corporate donors and high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs).
- Identify new European / Europe based donors through research and outreach to create and develop a new European donor portfolio.
- Cultivate and steward relationships with European funders through regular engagement — meetings, site visits, and strategic touchpoints.
- Partner with CEO and Managing Director, US for as needed for follow-on funder meetings and presentations.
- Deliverables include: Funding Landscape Map, Portfolio Pipeline, Multi-Year Funding Proposals, Relationship Engagement Log.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5 or more years of experience in fundraising, grant writing, or nonprofit development.
- Demonstrated ability to write high-quality grant proposals, concept notes, and donor reports.
- Experience building and managing a portfolio of institutional and/or individual funders.
- Donor database management skills, preferably in Raiser's Edge.
- Experience working with international donors, particularly in the context of global development or agriculture.
- Experience in or familiarity with West Africa is a strong plus.
