About the role
- Plan, create, and deliver engaging content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Craft compelling narratives that showcase MOTAT’s exhibitions, events, and heritage.
- Produce and edit photography and video content using tools like Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Manage a dynamic social media calendar and implement MOTAT’s social media strategy.
- Monitor engagement, respond to comments, and champion audience-focused storytelling.
- Collaborate with a small, supportive team while managing tasks independently.
Requirements
- Proven experience: Minimum 3 years in social media and content creation.
- Creative storyteller: Exceptional writing skills and a knack for tailoring content to different platforms while maintaining brand voice.
- Tech-savvy: Skilled in photography, video creation, and editing; confident with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Organised & proactive: Able to prioritise, meet deadlines, and wear multiple hats in a fast-paced environment.
- Audience-focused: Understand how to engage families, educators, tech and heritage enthusiasts, and museum-goers.
- Collaborative yet independent: Enjoy working with others but comfortable managing tasks on your own.
- Bonus points for: Experience in museums, education, cultural institutions, or not-for-profit organisations.
