About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee the delivery and quality of customer programs for ECUs in Connected Mobility and Electric Vehicles.
  • Lead the team in strategic headcount planning, hiring, and team building.
  • Enable and empower the team to continuously innovate and execute all software development tasks to their full potential.
  • Define sprint team structure and monitor workload, including open tickets, to ensure team health and productivity.
  • Lead roadmap meetings and align product direction with customer needs.
  • Ensure compliance with established processes and standards such as ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434 and ASPICE.
  • Act as the direct interface between Product Management and HR, aligning strategies and resolving any issues that arise.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed university degree in Computer Science or a comparable engineering discipline.
  • Experience with HV batteries, cell monitoring, or battery storage systems is a plus.
  • More than 5 years of professional experience in embedded software engineering (ideally in C/C++).
  • More than 3 years of experience in software architecture or a technical leadership role.
  • Preferably experience with automotive functional safety and cybersecurity.
  • Willingness to take responsibility for a software team and ownership of one or more products.
  • Creativity, curiosity, and enthusiasm for innovative electronic solutions for electric vehicles.
  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills (English required; German is a plus).
