About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee the delivery and quality of customer programs for ECUs in Connected Mobility and Electric Vehicles.
Lead the team in strategic headcount planning, hiring, and team building.
Enable and empower the team to continuously innovate and execute all software development tasks to their full potential.
Define sprint team structure and monitor workload, including open tickets, to ensure team health and productivity.
Lead roadmap meetings and align product direction with customer needs.
Ensure compliance with established processes and standards such as ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434 and ASPICE.
Act as the direct interface between Product Management and HR, aligning strategies and resolving any issues that arise.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed university degree in Computer Science or a comparable engineering discipline.
Experience with HV batteries, cell monitoring, or battery storage systems is a plus.
More than 5 years of professional experience in embedded software engineering (ideally in C/C++).
More than 3 years of experience in software architecture or a technical leadership role.
Preferably experience with automotive functional safety and cybersecurity.
Willingness to take responsibility for a software team and ownership of one or more products.
Creativity, curiosity, and enthusiasm for innovative electronic solutions for electric vehicles.
Team-oriented with strong communication skills (English required; German is a plus).
