About the role
- As a Program Planning Manager - Development, you will play a critical role in transforming innovative designs into manufacturable, high-quality products.
- You’ll guide the operational launch of new programs - from initial customer requirements to fully ramped-up production.
- In this role, you will coordinate early-stage manufacturing efforts, including the setup of production lines, tooling, and prototypes.
- You will be the key operational interface during the development phase, enabling a seamless transition from concept to volume production.
- Working cross-functionally with supply chain, engineering, and quality teams, you’ll ensure that customer expectations are translated into effective operational plans.
- By driving early planning, clear communication, and operational readiness, you will help lay the foundation for product and customer success from day one.
Requirements
- Successfully completed university degree in engineering, business management, or a related field (experience in supply chain or production management is a plus)
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in production program management or a related role, preferably within the automotive or electronics manufacturing industry
- Strong proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, take ownership, and drive them to successful completion
- Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in English is required, and proficiency in German is a plus
- Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process optimization
