About the role

  • As a Systems Engineer for Battery Management Systems (BMS), you will be instrumental in the design, development, and integration of advanced BMS solutions tailored for automotive applications.
  • You will work within a multidisciplinary team, focusing on the technical aspects of BMS projects, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative products that meet industry standards and customer expectations.
  • You define and develop the project-specific System Specification, ensuring the "What" is clearly defined for the implementation teams.
  • You apply and integrate our existing platform architecture (hardware and software blocks) to meet specific customer project requirements.
  • You define and document robust SW/HW interfaces in accordance with our platform rules to minimize integration friction.
  • Gather, analyze, and manage system requirements throughout the V-Model development lifecycle using our toolchain.
  • Conduct system-level analyses (e.g., DFMEA) to identify and mitigate potential design risks early in the process.
  • Create and maintain essential technical documentation, including system specifications, design documents, and customer-facing user guides.
  • Serve as the primary technical interface for the project team (Software, Hardware, Test) to resolve technical ambiguities.
  • Collaborate closely with validation teams to ensure a clear understanding of system behaviors and support integration testing.

Requirements

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of industry experience in Systems Engineering, preferably within the automotive sector (BMS experience is a strong plus).
  • Deep understanding of the V-Model and Systems Engineering standards (ASPICE, ISO 15288).
  • Familiarity with Functional Safety (ISO 26262) is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency with requirements management and architecture tools.
  • You are structured and communicative, capable of moving projects from ambiguity to clarity. You work effectively in cross-functional teams to ensure the logical and physical architecture matches the customer need.
