About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare and update Validation Master Plans, project plans, and detailed protocols for all validation and commissioning activities.
  • Define specifications and manage requirements for environmental and electrical tests, taking customer requirements into account and developing risk analysis tools based on the technologies used and the required mission profile.
  • Manage test and laboratory equipment resources in cooperation with project management and external partners.
  • Perform complex testing, collect samples, and oversee/review testing and reports produced by junior staff and contractors.
  • Analyze test results to verify criteria are met and prepare/review summary reports and documentation for regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure all validation activities and documentation comply with internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements (e.g., GMP, ISO).
  • Implement advanced automation of test procedures and data analysis for test evaluation.
  • Lead lessons-learned processes related to validation performance and field failures.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in an engineering discipline (e.g., mechatronics, electrical engineering, automotive engineering).
  • Practical experience in validation and analysis of electronics; automotive experience is mandatory.
  • Strong background in theoretical reliability and robustness test methods is required.
  • Experience in electronic design and manufacturing with the ability to read schematics and drawings.
  • Experience with Python for test automation and data analysis is a plus.
  • Highly motivated, with a willingness to take responsibility and ownership of projects.
  • Creative, curious, and enthusiastic about innovative electronic solutions for electric vehicles.
  • Preference for team-oriented work and strong communication skills in English (German is a plus).
