About the role
- Oversee the entire product release process, including planning, execution, and post-release activities.
- Act as the development representative within the project team and serve as the primary contact for Industrialization, Operations, and Purchasing on development-related topics.
- Coordinate tasks and assign them to the various stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of product features and functionality.
- Monitor and manage product costs, including Bill of Materials (BOM) costs, to optimize overall product profitability.
- Define and manage product variants to meet diverse customer needs while maintaining consistency and quality.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve quality issues, working closely with the quality team to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Manage suppliers and track the maturity of their products, ensuring timely delivery of components.
- Develop and oversee comprehensive validation plans to verify product performance and reliability.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate product risks to minimize potential issues and ensure product safety.
Requirements
- Strong technical background in electronic hardware design and development
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in product management or a similar role
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of automotive industry standards and regulations
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
