About the role

  • Independent owner of the HR domain: maintain, improve, and develop HR processes and coordinate workload with management
  • Monitor employee satisfaction and act on feedback and suggestions
  • Coordinate the full employee lifecycle: onboarding, offboarding, tax/residence forms, payroll changes, pensions, employment contracts, long-term leave
  • Promote employee well-being and culture: check-ins, organize quarterly team events, game nights, and group sports activities
  • Report on key HR metrics (e.g., absenteeism, turnover, satisfaction)
  • Manage the recruitment pipeline: post vacancies, screen candidates, liaise with external recruiters, coordinate interviews with hiring managers
  • Maintain and update the HR handbook and HR processes
  • Coordinate the employee evaluation cycle: schedule evaluations and handle administration
  • Light office management (1–3 hrs/week): weekly groceries, office plants, supplies, hardware, and internal tooling/billing
  • Coordinate with HR specialists within TSS and sister organisations for support and guidance

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant HR experience
  • Education in HR or a similar field
  • Availability to work at least 3 days per week at our office in the World Trade Center (Den Haag)
  • Passion for building a healthy and happy workplace culture
  • Strong communication skills and an approachable personality
  • Excellent organizational skills: independent, structured, and confident in decision-making
  • Flexibility and responsiveness to incoming HR tasks and requests
  • Proactive mindset: identifying improvements and proposing solutions
  • Fluency in English (Dutch is a strong plus, as Dutch labor law applies)
