About the role
- Coordination, documentation and tracking of process improvement, risk mitigation and other initiatives
- Analysis of routine processes, identification of process improvement opportunities and leading the effort to implement solutions and processes to enhance business as usual workflows
- Development of relationships with stakeholders and partner teams
- Day-to-day activities such as client profile setup and maintenance, research and investigation
- User Acceptance Testing
- Development of procedures, workflows, communications, and training activities related to the function
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience
- Experience with one or more payment rails
- Knowledge of payment and electronic data file formats and transmission processes
- Experience in business analysis, leading and implementing change initiatives, preferably within a payment services environment, or equivalent work experience
- Fully capable of handling initiatives with minimal support
- Ability to challenge the status quo and questions existing approach and processes
- Demonstrated priority setting, problem solving, negotiating, and conflict management skills
- Functional, technical, and operational organizational skills required, including the ability to develop strong alliances at all levels within the organization
- Sound oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills
- Solid decision-making skills that demonstrate originality, flexibility, and resourcefulness
- Ability to adapt to change and implement quickly based on the overall direction and needs of the company
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and commitments concurrently
- Must be a self-starter and can work independently
- Ability to influence, coordinate and direct activities of others
- Desire to stay abreast of banking industry trends
- Demonstrated customer focus, integrity, and knowledge of banking industry trends related to payments
