About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop a strategic and operational business plan for the department under the general guidelines provided by the Managing Director.
- Promote sales and marketing activity to the target market.
- Seek new market opportunities for the division.
- Cross-sell bank products and services by identifying transaction opportunities, marketing each product to identified clients, negotiating the terms and conditions, and executing and documenting the transactions.
- Negotiate terms, structure loan financing based on risk considerations, and present credits for approval to appropriate levels of authority.
- Support the Bank's culture through ongoing customer contact, quality customer service, and superior product knowledge.
- Prepare lending proposals and pitches to prospective clients.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years experience in U.S. banking and international markets
- Excellent interpersonal skills including business writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Knowledge of domestic and foreign financial markets and products, including nonbanking financial institutions
- Fluency in both English and Japanese
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or equivalent work experience, Master's in Business or CFA preferred
