About the role
- Monitor, triage, and investigate DLP alerts in accordance with documented SOPs and playbooks across supported DLP channels.
- Execute approved DLP policies and operational tasks under the DLP policy lifecycle and change governance framework.
- Document investigations, decisions, and outcomes in case management systems to support audit and regulatory requirements.
- Identify false positives, operational gaps, and tuning opportunities and propose recommendations for review by senior engineers.
- Support DLP exception intake, due diligence, tracking, and closure in alignment with established exception management procedures.
- Produce and maintain operational metrics and reporting to support governance, management review, and audits.
- Collaborate with GSOC and cross-functional stakeholders and escalate complex or high-risk issues in accordance with defined escalation paths.
Requirements
- Experience in information security operations, data protection, or cybersecurity monitoring roles.
- Working knowledge of Data Loss Prevention concepts, data classification, and incident handling processes.
- Familiarity with enterprise DLP platforms such as Microsoft Purview or equivalent technologies.
- Ability to follow structured procedures and produce clear, concise, audit-ready documentation.
- Strong analytical skills and effective written and verbal communication abilities.
