About the role
- Document, build, and maintain wireframes and repositories for Transaction Banking online, web and mobile user interfaces
- Advocate for outstanding customer experiences and UX/UI principles including responsive design, accessibility, and omnichannel experiences
- Partner with Product Managers to ensure backlog readiness, develop mock-ups, and finalize screen designs
- Design and prototype new features with Product Managers and Software Engineers during SDLC
- Create working HTML or tool-based clickable demos of channel applications
- Gather and analyze frontline and customer feedback to drive product changes
- Conduct competitive analyses, report product performance metrics, and support strategy planning and presentations
- Participate in specifications, user testing, and focus groups for future digital banking products
- Maintain a personal development roadmap and ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- 5 years+ of experience working in digital channels software design and development
- Degree from a four-year college (e.g., B.A., B.S.), preferably graphic design, computer science, technology, or engineering
- Advanced degree or MBA advantageous
- Apple Mac user with proficiency using a variety of design and prototyping tools
- Understanding of the agile development process and digital product development lifecycle preferred
- Creative problem solver who is willing to work hard and learn
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with all levels of business and technology team members
