About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify, size, and prioritize financial performance improvement opportunities in partnership with clinical, operational, and administrative stakeholders.
- Develop financial baselines, measurement methodologies, and business cases to support enterprise initiatives and operational improvement efforts.
- Conduct financial discovery and analysis using data from multiple sources, including general ledger, payroll, accounts payable, budgeting, and operational systems.
- Support value realization efforts by establishing targets, tracking progress, validating financial impact, and identifying risks to achievement.
- Partner with Finance, Operations, and the Transformation Management Office (TMO) to support performance improvement initiatives and organizational transformation efforts.
- Support productivity and labor performance initiatives through financial analysis, benchmarking, and opportunity sizing activities.
- Create executive-level presentations, dashboards, and reporting tools that communicate value, opportunity, performance, and initiative status to senior leadership.
- Independently provide financial modeling and analytical support for medium to large projects across the organization while serving as a resource and mentor to junior analysts.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4-5 years minimum of progressive experience in finance, financial planning, accounting, revenue cycle management, or general analytical related experience.
- Healthcare or hospital finance experience strongly preferred.
- Advanced Excel proficiency required; experience with Strata and enterprise financial systems preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and executive-level reporting.
- Proven ability to support financial performance improvement, operating budgets, and complex financial initiatives.
