About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on the MSK real world clinical and molecular oncology database
  • Shape the future of the oncology database by identifying and evaluating opportunities to license and expand its use
  • Build and grow partnerships with pharma companies through outreach and ongoing negotiation
  • Partner directly with scientific, clinical, and business stakeholders to represent the product
  • Oversee real-world data generated through patient care and day-to-day research
  • Drive the ongoing 'merge between the science and the business'
  • Act as a trusted advisor to partners navigating the scientific nuances of the data
  • Support cross-functional coordination between teams to keep the product aligned and moving forward

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Background spanning both science and business
  • Knowledge of cancer biology, clinical cancer genomics, and clinical oncology
  • Computational proficiency, including SQL or Python
  • Experience or strong interest in data licensing, partnerships, or business development within life sciences
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with scientists, clinicians, and business teams
  • Strong grounding in real-world data (RWD) generated through patient care and research settings
