Develop advanced knowledge and treatment skills in oncology rehabilitation
Participate in an 18-month intensive program providing post-professional didactic and clinical training
Apply advanced knowledge, clinical skills, evidence-based practice and critical inquiry in the evaluation and treatment of individuals with cancer
Serve as a consultant within a multidisciplinary team in both an acute care and outpatient setting
Effectively deliver educational material to advance knowledge related to oncology physical therapy practice

Requirements

What you’ll need

Graduated from an accredited program in physical therapy or equivalent through the Federations of State Boards of Physical Therapy by the start of the residency program [Doctor of Physical Therapy (tDPT or DPT) preferred]
1 - 5 years of clinical experience preferred
New York State Physical Therapy Licensure required by the start of the residency program
Membership in APTA, including Oncology Academy
BCLS Certification
