About the role
- Coordinate project timelines and monitor progress across multiple construction initiatives.
- Maintain project documentation, including drawings, logs, meeting minutes, submittals, and contract records.
- Assist in developing project budgets and cost estimates through analysis of labor, materials, equipment, and project conditions.
- Monitor project costs and support ongoing financial tracking throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review contractors work to confirm alignment with contract documents, project scope, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in the development and evaluation of design concepts, constructability reviews, and design coordination for capital projects.
- Conduct site visits and field surveys to verify existing conditions and monitor construction progress.
- Perform routine site inspections to review safety, quality, and schedule performance, and assist in tracking punch-list and corrective items.
- Support procurement activities including preparation of bid packages, coordination of competitive bidding, and evaluation of contractor proposals.
- Coordinate communication among architects, engineers, contractors, hospital operations, and internal stakeholders.
- Assist in managing project risks, identifying issues early, and supporting resolution in coordination with the Senior Project Manager.
Requirements
- Experience in construction project management, with emphasis on complex institutional or healthcare projects.
- Experience working with project management systems such as Microsoft Project or similar scheduling and project tracking platforms, Procore, Autodesk, etc.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret architectural, engineering, and construction documents.
- Knowledge of building codes, regulatory requirements, and healthcare construction standards preferred.
- Strong analytical and organizational capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Understanding of construction budgeting, estimating, and contract administration.
