About the role
- Play a key role in the development, implementation, and maintenance of MSK’s QA and dosimetry programs across multiple clinical sites.
- Perform routine and advanced quality assurance (QA) for linear accelerators and CT simulators at our Manhattan campuses.
- Contribute to the commissioning of new clinical equipment and software.
- Maintain and enhance the enterprise QA database and associated workflows.
- Participate in cross-calibration of dosimetry equipment (ion chambers, electrometers).
- Oversee daily QA processes across the Main Campus and Koch Center.
- Support clinical operations in external beam radiotherapy physics.
- Maintain QA datasets and documentation within clinical systems.
- Contribute to the evaluation and implementation of new QA technologies.
- Lead or support projects within the Radiation Dosimetry Core team.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in medical physics or related physical sciences (or equivalent).
- ABR (or equivalent) board certification or eligibility.
- New York State License and New Jersey registration or eligibility for both.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel periodically to all MSK facilities as required.
