About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Play a key role in the development, implementation, and maintenance of MSK’s QA and dosimetry programs across multiple clinical sites.
Perform routine and advanced quality assurance (QA) for linear accelerators and CT simulators at our Manhattan campuses.
Contribute to the commissioning of new clinical equipment and software.
Maintain and enhance the enterprise QA database and associated workflows.
Participate in cross-calibration of dosimetry equipment (ion chambers, electrometers).
Oversee daily QA processes across the Main Campus and Koch Center.
Support clinical operations in external beam radiotherapy physics.
Maintain QA datasets and documentation within clinical systems.
Contribute to the evaluation and implementation of new QA technologies.
Lead or support projects within the Radiation Dosimetry Core team.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master’s degree in medical physics or related physical sciences (or equivalent).
ABR (or equivalent) board certification or eligibility.
New York State License and New Jersey registration or eligibility for both.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to travel periodically to all MSK facilities as required.
