About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assess current finance function and build the organization needed to support a growing SaaS business.
Rebuild the finance function, hire, mentor, and structure a team.
Own the financial systems stack centered on NetSuite, including process redesign and integrations.
Partner with CEO and executive leadership team on pricing, packaging, and market economics.
Manage external partners: auditors, tax advisors, legal counsel, and insurance.
Own cash management and develop board-ready reporting.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Prior CFO experience at a B2B SaaS company, with demonstrated success building or rebuilding a finance function.
PE- or VC-backed company experience.
Deep fluency in SaaS economics and metrics, ASC 606 revenue recognition, and SaaS-appropriate financial systems and reporting.
Hands-on operator's mindset — comfortable in a small-team environment.
Strategic range — experience in the room when business model decisions get made.
Strong communicator and partner to a CEO, COO, VP Revenue and broader leadership team.
