About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Plan production for industrial water/wastewater and environmental facilities using AutoCAD and Revit
Coordinate design elements with architecture, structures, environmental, site civil, and landscape disciplines
Define equipment, layout, and protection requirements for new and retrofit distribution stations according to applicable codes and standards
Interpret customer requirements and develop distribution station plans and specifications
Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams on system layout, SCADA controls, automation, and instrumentation
Prepare electrical calculations for low- and medium-voltage power distribution, lighting, controls, and fire alarm systems
Support water and wastewater projects that improve environmental and public health infrastructure
Work under the Process and Controls Technical Service Manager alongside engineers, drafters, and technical managers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Working knowledge of low- and medium-voltage power distribution, standby power systems, instrumentation, controls, lighting, and fire alarm systems
Prior water and wastewater treatment experience preferred but not required
Familiarity with ICC, NEC, NFPA building codes and LEED building standards
Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET accreditation preferred) or equivalent work experience
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain it within 12 months of hire
