About the role
- Manage and maintain customer, contract, and billing data across systems.
- Oversee approximately 250 outgoing invoices per month (e.g. via Easybill).
- Handle contracts, contract changes, and cancellations.
- Monitor incoming payments via bank and payment providers (e.g. Stripe) and assign them correctly.
- Spot missing or delayed payments and follow up proactively.
- Handle payment follow-ups in a professional, friendly, and solution-oriented way, with a focus on maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Collaborate closely with external accounting and tax advisors.
- Support the implementation and optimization of finance, billing, and CRM tools.
- Maintain a clear, reliable contract and billing database.
Requirements
- At least 2–4 years of hands-on experience in finance operations, billing, preferably in a B2B setup.
- Highly structured, detail-oriented, and accountable for data accuracy, invoicing, and on-time payments.
- High confidence working with CRM, billing, and payment tools is a must.
- Experience with HubSpot, Easybill, Agicap, Stripe, or similar systems is strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of commercial contracts, invoicing logic, and payment flows, including recurring billing and service periods.
- Professional, friendly, and solution-oriented communication with customers on payment topics.
- Familiarity with German and EU tax requirements.
- Business-fluent English and German (C1 level).
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration or similar.
- Comfortable working independently with a high level of ownership.
