About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating infection prevention strategies
- Reducing healthcare-associated infections
- Strengthening regulatory readiness
- Promoting a culture of safety through evidence-based practices
- Serving as a subject matter expert in infection prevention and control
- Providing consultation, field support, data analysis, education, and outbreak response
Requirements
What you’ll need- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with clinical, quality, and leadership teams
- Experience in healthcare with NHSN reporting
- Experience in infection surveillance
- Experience with Infection Control Assessment and Response (ICAR) preferred
- A bachelor's degree in nursing, Public Health, Microbiology, or related field
- Certification in Infection Control preferred
- Ability to travel up to 15-60%.
