About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • provide clients individualized supported employment and education services using the evidence-based Individualized Placement and Support (IPS) Model
  • partner with clients to identify and achieve competitive employment and educational goals while collaborating closely with the integrated behavioral health treatment team
  • develop relationships with employers, educational institutions, and community partners to create opportunities that match each client's strengths, interests, and preferences
  • support clients in employment and education services, including intake, engagement, assessment, job placement, education placement, coaching, and follow-up support
  • provide special assistance to the SEP Supervisor in further development and implementation of the IPS program
  • maintain reliability and dependability through a commitment to schedule and tasks.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • bachelor’s degree in social work or a similar field and/or related experience providing services to young adults with special needs, severe emotional disturbances, and/or cognitive or developmental delays
  • strong commitment to quality, efficiency, and effectiveness
  • logical thinker to identify alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches
  • accurate and efficient typist and experienced user of computers
  • knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google
  • strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
  • self-starter while working well in a strong team environment
  • work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
