About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with school leaders and teachers to implement high-quality literacy instruction aligned with the science of reading.
  • Support the scale-up efforts of Project Ready! in preschool settings.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to teachers through classroom observations, co-teaching, and one-on-one instructional support (preK – 6th grade).
  • Deliver professional learning sessions and assist with data-informed instructional planning.
  • Collaborate with the Center for Reading Science to ensure curriculum fidelity and long-term sustainability.
  • Create useful tools, curriculum materials, and resources to support implementation efforts.
  • Champion inclusive, evidence-based practices that address the needs of all learners.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A master’s degree in reading or a related field is required.
  • Clear training in Reading Science & MTSS.
  • Teaching experience in PreK–5 reading instruction.
  • Proven ability to prepare educators in evidence-based reading practices.
  • Experience writing instructional materials/resources.
  • Demonstrated experience working with diverse students, families, and school communities.
