About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and maintain global WAN/LAN/MPLS/SDWAN infrastructure for stability, reliability, and performance
- Oversee Data Centre and Server Room operations, including hardware, connectivity, and environmental controls
- Administer and optimise Meraki, Barracuda, Azure, and Cisco firewall technologies
- Support Microsoft Azure and cloud-based networking solutions
- Deploy and manage cloud-based web filtering and security services
- Monitor network performance using WUG and Meraki Dashboards and proactively resolve issues
- Manage access to Microsoft and other SaaS cloud services
- Administer Direct Access, ZPA, and Meraki VPN remote access solutions
- Lead problem, change, knowledge, event, asset lifecycle, capacity management, monitoring, and request fulfilment processes
- Maintain network diagrams, technical guides, procedures, and change/test/transition plans
- Act as the 4th Line escalation point for changes, problems, and incidents
- Manage resolution and supplier engagement for complex network issues
- Support configuration management, auditing, and infrastructure compliance
- Champion network security, resilience, and disaster recovery planning
- Mentor and support junior engineers
- Drive continuous service improvement, benchmarking, monitoring, and optimisation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Deep expertise in LAN, WAN, SDWAN, network management, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Strong knowledge of IPv4, subnetting, DNS, DHCP, and network security, including firewalls and threat mitigation
- Advanced experience with Azure and AWS cloud networking, LAN switching, routing, web proxies, remote access, and VPNs
- Solid understanding of Windows and Linux network environments
- Proven ability in auditing, compliance, and resolving technical issues in large-scale, complex settings
- Skilled communication and stakeholder engagement
- Ability to identify risks, escalate issues, make decisions under pressure, and mentor team members
- Experience with Meraki, Barracuda, Azure, Cisco, WUG, Meraki Dashboards, Direct Access, ZPA, and Meraki VPNs
- Desirable: experience managing Zscaler cloud security services (ZIA/ZPA) and implementing Zero Trust security controls
- Valid Right to Work document in India, such as a Passport, Voter ID, or Birth Certificate
