Structural Engineer

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Developing conceptual and detailed designs for new builds, renovations, or extensions
- Preparing detailed reports, specifications, and drawings
- Working closely with architects and other engineering disciplines (MEP, Civil) to align structural solutions with aesthetic and functional project goals
- Advising on appropriate construction materials (e.g., steel, concrete, timber) based on factors like safety, cost, and environmental impact
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 4 years of experience in the structural design works for building structures (concrete and steel)
- Strong knowledge on structural behaviours and decision-making proficiency on structural framing and analysis
- Proficiency in software like ETABS and SAFE
- Basic knowledge of Autodesk, Revit, BIM 360, Projectwise and functional level skills on Navisworks or revitzo
- A Master’s degree in Structural Engineering from an accredited university
- Preferred candidates working toward or holding Chartered (CEng) or Incorporated (IEng) status with the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE) or the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE)
