About the role
- Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs are practical, buildable and compliant
- Liaising with clients, authorities, contractors and internal stakeholders
- Hydrologic and hydraulic assessment of transportation projects, including catchment hydrology and flood modelling.
- Preparation and review of technical reports, design documentation, drawings and approval submissions.
- Contributing to programme delivery, risk management and quality outcomes.
Requirements
- A degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or similar.
- Experience in hydrologic and hydraulic modelling for stormwater and flooding (e.g. RORB, RAFTS, WBNM, TUFLOW, HEC‑RAS or similar).
- Experience designing and assessing road drainage and cross‑drainage infrastructure.
- Understanding of Australian rainfall and flood estimation practices, standards and authority requirements.
- Exposure to DSC / D&C delivery environments, particularly preliminary design and construction packages (preferred).
- Strong coordination skills and a collaborative approach in multidisciplinary teams.
- Currently have or progress toward, or interest in achieving, RPEQ or Chartered status.
