About the role

  • Build and structure the SRE/Platform area, defining standards, processes, and best practices;
  • Act as the technical authority in creating the company's platform foundation;
  • Have the autonomy to explore, propose, and implement technical solutions aligned with business growth;
  • Build and evolve the platform that supports development teams;
  • Create abstractions and tools that simplify developers' work;
  • Define and maintain SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets;
  • Ensure reliability, performance, and scalability in distributed systems;
  • Evolve observability from reactive to strategic and business-focused;
  • Automate the infrastructure lifecycle (GitOps, Crossplane);
  • Proactively work on failure prevention (Chaos Engineering, load testing);
  • Promote an engineering culture, resilience, and best practices.

Requirements

  • Solid experience as an SRE or Platform Engineer;
  • Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, or Bare Metal);
  • Strong experience in infrastructure-focused development (Go, Python, or Rust);
  • Experience with Cloud (AWS and/or GCP);
  • Experience with GitOps tools (ArgoCD or Flux);
  • Experience with observability, metrics, logging, and distributed tracing;
  • Excellent technical communication and documentation skills (runbooks, standards);
  • Technical leadership profile and systems-level thinking.
